What This Means

The AGPL-3.0 license allows you to:

• ✅ Patent use - includes an express grant of patent rights from contributors

Requirements

When using TealFlowMCP, you must:

• 📋 Disclose source - Source code must be made available when distributing
• 📋 License and copyright notice - Include a copy of the license and copyright notice
• 📋 State changes - Document any changes made to the code
• 📋 Same license - Modifications and derivative works must be released under AGPL-3.0
• 📋 Network use - If you run the software as a service over a network, you must make the source code available to users of the service

Key Difference from GPL/LGPL

AGPL-3.0 is stricter than GPL and LGPL:

• Requires source code disclosure even for software used over a network (not just distributed binaries)
• Does not allow linking from proprietary software without AGPL compliance
